About Maria A Serrano

Dr. María A Serrano graduated and earned her doctorate in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry Section, at the University of Salamanca (Spain). She has been a visiting guest scientist at the Florida University (MEC Sabbatical, USA) and University Hospital in Zurich (Switzerland) (University of Salamanca Grant). She is Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at University of Salamanca (Spain) member of the CIBER of Hepatic and Digestive Diseases (CIBEREHD, ISCIII) in Madrid and also member of Institute for Biomedical Research of Salamanca (IBSAL). She is currently the Vicepresident of the SEBBM.
