On 18 June, the FEBS Junior Section organized an online talk as part of their 2025 series of talks on key research and career topics of interest to students and young researchers in the molecular life sciences across Europe. This talk was coordinated by the junior section of the Finnish Biochemical, Biophysics and Microbiology Society (BioBio). The talk was given by Adjunct Prof. Kirsi Rautajoki, co-founder and chair of the Finnish Brain Tumor Research Association (FiBTRA), from the Cancer Regulation and Immunology research group at Tampere University, Finland, on the topic of "The power of research associations and collaboration: the case of FiBTRA".
