As part of FEBS’ 60th anniversary, this FEBS Women in Science webinar will feature female scientists, nominated by their national societies, sharing their experiences and engaging in a meaningful discussion on equality, diversity, and inclusion in academia.

Chaired by Caroline Dean and Irene Díaz-Moreno (FEBS Executive Committee) and supported by the FEBS Junior Section, the event highlights how fostering inclusion can enhance personal and professional growth for young scientists.

The event takes place on18 & 19 December 2024; 15:00–16:30 CET. Please register for the event.

We also invite you to explore another FEBS 60th anniversary activity: the Women’s Careers in Science eBook. FEBS Constituent Societies were invited to nominate one of their female scientists and their stories were compiled as 35 engaging accounts illustrating the diverse ways in which women navigate their careers in science alongside personal and family commitments. The eBook was an initiative by the Careers of Young Scientists Committee in collaboration with the Working Group on Women in ScienceYou can access the PDF on the FEBS website.
