FEBS Junior Section – Katarina P. van Midden: A journey into plant immunity, from Slovenian roots to a postdoc in Oxford
On 19 November, the FEBS Junior Section organized an online talk as part of their 2025 series of talks on key research and career topics of interest to students and young researchers in the molecular life sciences across Europe. This talk was coordinated by the junior section of the Slovenian Biochemical Society (SBD). The talk was given by Dr Katarina Petra van Midden, postdoctoral researcher from the University of Oxford, UK, on the topic " Life, death and defense: exploring how plants fight back – My journey from Slovenia to Oxford".
