FEBS Junior Section – Giulia Faravelli and Davide Zabeo: In and out of academia
On 13 February, the FEBS Junior Section organized an online career talk as part of their 2025 series of talks on key research and career topics of interest to students and young researchers in the molecular life sciences across Europe. This talk was coordinated by the Junior-SIB (the junior section of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, SIB), and was given by Dr Giulia Faravelli (Senior CRA at IQVIA, Pavia, Italy) and Dr Davide Zabeo (postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Chemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden). They covered the topics of "Unlocking the path from lab to patient – the critical role of the Clinical Research Associate" and "In and out of academia – comparing life as a university researcher and as a facility scientist". We share on this post a recording of the talk.
The next event will be advertised on the FEBS Junior Section overview post.
