FEBS Junior Section

Junior Section, FEBS

The FEBS Junior Section is organised by students and young researchers from some FEBS Constituent Societies. They develop joint activities, such as online talks and other events, and share resources, as well as open doors for young European scientists to opportunities outside their home countries by providing the relevant contacts and fostering communication within the network.
Subham Preetam

Early Stage Researcher (R1), DGIST

Subham Preetam is the Founder & CEO of N BASE. He is a professional biotechnologist in the field of biorobotics, cancer, immunity, biomedical, and nanometerial research. He is dedicated to the advancement of precision medicine and successful preclinical research to enhance the quality of life for individuals. With extensive cross-disciplinary training and experience in translational research, he is currently focused on various research topics, including microrobotics, soft bio-hybrid robots, and quantum nanoparticles for drug delivery. His research aims to improve the life expectancy of sea animals and humans. Furthermore, he is involved in developing a bio-fluidics nanomedicine system that leverages the latest drug delivery technologies to create personalized solutions for brain cancer patients in South Korea and Sweden. Additionally, he collaborates with researchers from India, Taiwan, Israel, US, Denmark, Singapore, Spain, Portugal, and the United Kingdom on various collaborative projects.
Molecular Oncology is an Open Access international journal that highlights new discoveries, approaches, as well as technical developments, in basic, clinical and discovery-driven translational cancer research.
'FEBS Communications' posts general items from the FEBS Network Team as well as news on FEBS events and other activities.
Junior-GBM

Junior section, German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Junior-GBM is the Junior Section of the German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM). It was set up in 2011 to support the career development and networking opportunities of students and young researchers in the molecular life sciences in Germany. The Junior-GBM organise and deliver their own activities, under the supervision of their Society and all members of the Junior-GBM are members of the GBM. Junior-GBM are also part of the FEBS Junior Section. To find out more about the Junior-GBM read their overview post and check out the online talks and other activities they deliver, accesible from the 'Popular contributions' section below.
The Austrian Society for Molecular Life Sciences and Biotechnology (ÖGMBT) is the largest Austrian association of scientists, students and companies active in molecular life sciences, biotechnology and related fields. The society represents the above-mentioned disciplines in their entire spectrum, from basic and application-oriented research to the implementation of research results. Therefore the ÖGMBT has a dense network of members with representatives from academia, industry and related fields. In view of the great importance of the life sciences for Austria as a science and business location, the ÖGMBT sees itself as a major shaping force in the Austrian research landscape.
