On 14 April 2022, the HDBMB Young Scientists' Forum organised an online talk on behalf of the FEBS Junior Section. It was the fourth event of the initiative's 2022 series of talks on key research and career topics of interest to students and young researchers in the molecular life sciences across Europe. The talk was given by Prof. Igor Stagljar, from University of Toronto, on the topic of career success in the life sciences, with a focus on his work developing high-throughput technologies to facilitate the study of the protein-protein interactions of human membrane proteins involved in cancer. We share on this post a recording of the talk.

The event had over 202 registrations and 72 attendees, and the FEBS Junior Section are delighted that the initiative continues to grow.

The next talk will be on Thursday, 12 May, organised by the by ÖGMBT/Young Life Scientists Austria. It will be an academic talk on “Circumventing immunization”, from Prof. Florian Rüker, at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna.
