FEBS Junior Section – Andreas Schlundt: RNA-protein interactions webinar

A webinar about the roles of sequence, structure and dynamics for specific RNA-recognition by proteins, from Dr Andreas Schlundt, at Goethe University Frankfurt. The event was organised by Junior-GBM as part of the FEBS Junior Section's 2022 series of online talks on key research and career topics.

On 13th January 2022, Junior-GBM organised an online talk on behalf of the FEBS Junior Section initiative. It was the first event of the initiative's 2022 series of talks on key research and career topics of interest to students and young researchers in the molecular life sciences across Europe. The talk was given by Dr Andreas Schlundt, from Goethe University Frankfurt, in Germany, on the topic of “The roles of sequence, structure and dynamics for specific RNA-recognition by proteins”. We share on this post a recording of the talk, with a few slides edited out because they showed unpublished data.

The event had 150 registrations and 90 attendees, and the FEBS Junior Section are delighted that the initiative continues to grow. If you attended the talk, please fill in the feedback form

The next talk will be on Thursday, 10th February, organised by the SEBBM Junior Consuls. It will be a career-focused talk on Bridging academia and bioentrepreneurship, from Dr Andreas Laustsen, at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
