About Sara Leiste

Hello everyone,

am I studying Molecular Medicine in Freiburg and work at  a biochemistry laboratory. The lab focuses on protein structure and protein interactions with one another. The lab project I am currently enrolled in aims on understanding one specific interaction of a scaffold protein with an urat transporter, because mutations in this protein have shown an increased urat concentration in the blood which results in a lower risk of getting gout. 
I am always eager to learn more about other lab projects and newest breakthrough in biomedicine.
