Hello dear biochemists and hardworking scientitst.
I have two questions that might help us improve ourselves
1) What is something you deeply admire in biochemistry?
2) What would you do if you were not a biochemist?
For me- I truly admire -omics research and the NMR spectroscopy machine! (As I have done my multiple sclerosis research with it.... )
Second question is something I still question- I could be nearly anything from a librarian, to a ballerina or maybe even a neurosurgeon. Being mult-faceted can sometimes feel like am I in the right place or are there righter places.... That is why I opened this discussion as I know biochemistry is a hardwork and requires an IQ above average for sure, so we must all have more talents than we show outside.
I applaud you all for doing so much for the world, instead of just going for things that are more fun! I thank you all in the name of humanity. You are appreciated.
