Lu Cainü, a librarian (approved the title of Associate Research Librarian), holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Resource Management from Soochow University and a master’s degree in Information Science from the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After graduation, she worked at the Information Center of the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, focusing on research areas such as open science, open access, and data management. She has accumulated over a decade of research and practical experience. She has published 7 first-author papers in journals such as Journal of Library Science in China, primarily discussing the management of scientific journals and papers, and research data management in the era of open science. Two other first-author papers on open science practices and preprints have been accepted. She is responsible for the project “Volunteer Organization of Preprint communication and Integration into Academic Activities in the Field of Pharmaceutical Sciences”. She has participated in the research and promotion of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ open-access policy statement. She has also contributed to the writing of the “Blue Book on China’s Scientific Journal Development (2021) - Academic Publishing in the Open Science Environment.” She is also a member of 2024 ASAPbio Fellows Program.
