Professor, University of Cadiz

About Felix A. Ruiz

I am working with polyP since the year 2000, studying it in several unicellular parasites, algae, bacteria, and human platelets.

In 2004, I moved to sunny Cadiz and I have been interested in the research of polyP in blood and human cells.

Recently, I am participating in the governance of the University of Cadiz, having a year and a half in the position of General Director of Scientific Resources.

Since 2013, I have been very active in science outreach activities, mostly oriented to kids.

...and in my free time, I love to drive my old-style scooter (a Lambretta V Special).
