About Anne Assmus

Anne Assmus has held multiple management positions and consulted for biotech, pharmaceutical and venture capital companies in the space for about 15 years in Munich, Boston, New York and Copenhagen. She specializes in organizational strategy and business development for novel technologies and innovative therapeutics, often at the start-up stage of the companies. Her research interests lie in entrepreneurship in the industry, the optimization of organizational structures in highly interdisciplinary fields, expert networks and knowledge integration and decision making processes under high complexity. Anne holds an MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Heidelberg, a BSc in International Business from Copenhagen Business School and a PhD from the University of Passau.
