We are pleased that the conference was very well attended: about 150 scientists, young researchers, experts and enthusiasts from more than ten countries eagerly shared novel research findings in the field of biochemistry and related sciences.
We proudly summarize that the conference scientific program was enriched with the content presented by nine respectable plenary and invited speakers from Hungary, Switzerland, Slovenia and Serbia, along with seven oral presentations and about 100 posters! All presented results, especially those from notable lectures, sparked considerable attention and discussion.
We are confident that all conference events, including the guided tour of Novi Sad's city center and the Petrovaradin fortress and joint dinner of conference participants, provided a good setting for networking and starting new collaborations.
Among near hundred excellent poster announcements, six were announced for the best:
First place:
Zorana Lopandić: Biochemical characterization of newly designed H1sD2 glycoforms as potential therapeutics for HDM allergy (P121).
Lidija Filipović: Developing reversible immuno-affinity capture for extracellular vesicles purification (P207).
Second place:
Dunja Kokai: Long-term low-level dibutyl phthalate exposure causes endothelial dysfunction in EA.hy926 cells (P115).
Nevena Pecikozić: Nonlinear imaging of the hybrid layer after modifying the dentinal substrate by using collagen cross-linkers (P225).
Third place:
Petar Aleksić: The immunosuppressive therapy and the outcome of COVID-19 infection in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (P101).
Luka Veličković: Sugar-mediated thermal stabilisation of C-phycocyanin from Arthrospira platensis (P239).
Among the oral announcements, the award was given to one:
