Teaching Excellence Award from the Biochemical Society

Nominations are open for the 2023 Awards of the Biochemical Society (UK), which recognize established researchers as well as scientists in the early stages of their career, across the molecular biosciences sector.  Nominations that reflect the diversity of the bioscience community are encouraged and can be submitted by and for both members and non-members.

Among the various awards offered is the Teaching Excellence Award, which is given annually to an employee in higher education. The award recognizes individual excellence, a commitment to continuing professional development, and a commitment to students and colleagues.  Find more details about the award on the Biochemical Society's website here. 

The deadline for nominations is 31st January 2022.

Learning Science Teaching Innovation Awards

These awards from Learning Science, a provider of learning technology for university STEM courses, aim to 'support and celebrate innovation to positively impact scientific teaching quality and enhance student learning'. Applications this year are open to any science educator at university or senior-secondary (post-16) level using Learning Science resources or other digital tools in their teaching.
