The call for abstracts is now open for the FEBS Education and Training Conference (FEBS ETC 2026), taking place on 25–29 March 2026 in Kuşadası, Türkiye.

Organised by the FEBS Education and Training Committee, this biennial event brings together educators, trainers and researchers from across the world to share ideas, experiences and innovations in molecular life sciences education. Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2024, the 2026 conference will again feature plenary lectures, certified FEBS Academy workshops, hands-on education sessions, short talks and poster presentations, along with the new “Debate of the Day” format to inspire lively discussion and exchange.

Abstracts are invited on a broad range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation in education, active and hybrid learning, large-class engagement, well-being, equity, diversity and inclusion, laboratory experiences, curriculum development, assessment, supervision, transferable skills, professional development and communities of practice.

The deadline for abstract submission is 15 January 2026, with notification of acceptance on 1 February 2026. For full details on how to prepare and submit your abstract, the list of topics, and presentation formats, please visit the conference website.

A limited number of bursaries provided by the FEBS Education and Training Committee are also available to support participation. Information on grant eligibility and application requirements is available on the same webpage.
