FEBS Summer Fellowships are intended to help promising Master's and PhD students in the FEBS area carry out research work for their theses in a host lab in a different FEBS country. Successful applicants receive a single sum of money (€3500) towards travel and living costs for a short visit to the host institute, which should take place between 1st July and 30th October 2018. Depending on the proposed experiments, visits typically last between six and twelve weeks.

A prize of €500 is awarded to a FEBS Summer Fellow each year for the best report on work carried out during the Fellowship.

Full details, including a link to the online application system, can be found in the Summer Fellowships section of the FEBS website. For queries, please email the FEBS Fellowships Committee via the FEBS website's Contact Us form.

The application deadline for 2018 FEBS Summer Fellowships is 1st April 2018.
