On the occasion of February 11, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we invite you to explore the FEBS Women’s Careers in Science eBook.

This book was an initiative of the Careers of Young Scientists Committee (chaired by Prof. Irene Díaz-Moreno), in collaboration with the Working Group on Women in Science (chaired by Prof. Caroline Dean), as part of FEBS' 60th anniversary activities in 2024.

The book presents 35 inspiring stories of outstanding female scientists, nominated by their National Societies, highlighting the diverse ways in which women navigate their careers in science while balancing personal and family life.

We hope these amazing women will serve as role models for future generations of scientists!
