FEBS Junior Sections – Federico Forneris: Collagen lysine post-translational modification enzymes

A webinar about the molecular diversity of collagen lysine post-translational modification enzymes, from Federico Forneris, at Armenise-Harvard Laboratory, University of Pavia, in Italy. The event was organised by SIB Sezione Giovani as part of the FEBS Junior Sections' 2022 series of online talks.

On 10 November 2022, the SIB Sezione Giovani organised an online talk on behalf of the FEBS Junior Sections. It was the eleventh event of the initiative's 2022 series of talks on key research and career topics of interest to students and young researchers in the molecular life sciences across Europe. The talk was given by Prof. Federico Forneris, Armenise-Harvard Laboratory of Structural Biology, University of Pavia, in Italy, on the topic of “The molecular diversity of collagen lysine post-translational modification enzymes”. We share on this post a recording of the talk.

The event had 100 registrations and 34 attendees, and the FEBS Junior Sections are delighted that the initiative continues to grow.

The next talk will be on Thursday, 8 December, organised by the ÖGMBT/YLSA (the Junior Sections of the Austrian Society. ÖGMBT). It will be a careers talk on “Graduating from Academia: How to leave Alcatraz and come back only as a tourist. The 5-steps to success” from Dr. Boton Cseh, Vienna.
