About Csaba Matta
I graduated from the University of Debrecen as Molecular Biologist (MSc) and English-Hungarian translator in 2004. I had my PhD viva in 2009 in Biomedical Sciences. I am appointed as Assistant professor (Lecturer) at the University of Debrecen (Hungary). I am a Marie Curie alumni at the University of Surrey (UK).
My research expertise includes in vitro chondrogenesis and osteogenesis using primary and cell line-based models. I am interested in calcium signalling pathways, ion channels and the molecular circadian clock that govern chondrogenesis and osteoarthritis development.
