This is the 4th workshop jointly organized by the FEBS Education Committee and the Biochemical Society UK (previous events in the series: Cambridge 2012, Cambridge 2015, Chester 2018).

The two-day training event is aimed at anyone teaching in higher education in the molecular biosciences, from early career lecturers to established professors. The course aims to share best practice and novel ideas with higher educators, to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in their careers. The event will comprise lectures, group discussions, and poster presentations from attendees. ‘Evolving molecular bioscience education’ is supported by Heads of University Biosciences (HUBS).

Registration and abstract submission are open. Early bird rates apply up to 3 February 2020.

Members of FEBS Constituent Societies are eligible to register at the reduced price (£175 member, £135 early career member, £85 student and emeritus members).

Update:

You can now register for online access to the lectures for £65 either before or after Feb 3rd.

If you are unable to travel to Glasgow, you can register as an online delegate: you can watch a private live stream of the talks from the comfort of your office or home via a personalised link, ask questions to speakers and network with other remote delegates.  You will also have access to watch some of the talks up to 4 days following the event on demand. Please note the workshops will not be live streamed, only the presentations.
