Host the 6th FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE Conference in 2027: Applications now open!
FEBS and IUBMB (the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) invite applications to host the 6th FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE International Molecular Biosciences PhD and Postdoc Conference.
The FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE Conference is a three-day interdisciplinary event designed and run by and for young researchers in the molecular life sciences, bringing together up to 300 participants from across the globe. These conferences, launched in 2022 as a continuation of the 2017–2020 ENABLE project (originally funded by EU H2020), have already become a valued platform for scientific exchange and career development. We are now seeking an academic institution (a university or research centre located in country with a FEBS Constituent Society) to host the 2027 edition, which will take place in November 2027. FEBS and IUBMB will provide substantial financial support (up to EUR 86,100) as well as organisational guidance for the event.
The FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE Conference is unique in being organised by an international Scientific Organising Committee of PhD students and postdocs from multiple European institutions. At its core is the scientific symposium, showcasing the latest advances in molecular life sciences. Alongside this, participants benefit from a career day featuring interactive workshops, career chats, and an opportunity fair. The event also includes public engagement activities aimed at diverse audiences, which not only foster science communication but also help young researchers build valuable skills to connect with society.
