Dear colleagues and friends,  

We would like to bring to your attention the FEBS Advanced Course on Biological Surfaces and Interfaces: biointerfaces at lipids, proteins and polymers. The course will be held 8–13 June 2025 at Sant Feliu de Guixols, Catalonia, in Spain.

This FEBS Advanced Course will bring together senior and young researchers from diverse disciplines (chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, material science, medicine) studying interfaces between biological systems and artificial materials, and within biological systems (such as cell membranes and their model, proteins and peptides and biopolymers, etc.). 

Historically, this course – now on its 9th edition – has had a particularly strong focus on promoting interactions between the attendees, with plenty of time set aside for discussion – after the lectures, at the coffee breaks, and during the poster sessions.

Registration fees

Registration fees (see table below) include accommodation at the Eden Roc Hotel & Spa, meals and refreshments (breakfasts at the hotel, lunches and refreshments at the venue, and welcome cocktail and dinners), access to the event sessions, name badge, certificate of attendance, and book of abstracts. Travel costs are not covered. 

Awards

• Best poster/oral communications prizes are funded by the scientific journals Biointerphases and FEBS Open Bio.
