As a part of FEBS 60th activities, the Armenian Association of Biochemists (AAB) is organizing “Life Science Fest” in October 2024. Two day activities will be held in Yerevan including an Open Society day and “Science Film Festival”.
The Open Society day will be dedicated to 22 years of partnership between AAB and FEBS. The event is open for universities and academic research institutes focused on Life Sciences. AAB members will share their thoughts and benefits from FEBS opportunities followed by a public lecture.
“Science Film Festival” competition will inspire high and middle school students to create short videos on Life Science topics using their creativity and imagination. Small groups of students will make 3–5 min videos on the topics: “Sci-on: next generation” (High School students) and “(R)evolution: we have a message” (Middle School students). Up to 15 selected videos from each group will be demonstrated on the festival day. The participants will be encouraged by awards. This will boost students interest and strengthen their minds for Life Sciences, as well as to be integrated in the scientific community.
Let's celebrate our achievements, journey together with FEBS, and promote Life sciences at our special event in a friendly environment.
