For the second time, the GBM organised this 24 hours conference called GBM Compact, which was a vibrant and successful event. The four scientific organizers Konstanze Winklhofer, Johannes Herrmann, Stefan Jakob and Christian Münch put together a program with renowned speakers, short talks selected from the submitted abstracts and poster flash talks. Konstanze Winklhofer chaired these flash talks and made sure everyone stayed on time. Two integrated workshops addressed the successful application of imaging techniques, image analysis and data management.
The following poster session offered plenty of time for networking opportunities. Sadia Tamanna, Hannah Fleckenstein and Carlotta Pesel were selected for their excellent poster presentation.
Next year's GBM compact meeting will take place from 18–19 September 2025 with a focus on "Condensate Biology".
