As the Turkish Biochemical Society (TBS), we are glad to announce that we will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of FEBS with a special event: "MolBio Geeks Competing", a science competition for young molecular biologists. Hosted by the TBS, this event will take place during the 9th International Congress of the Molecular Biology Association of Türkiye (MolBiyoKon 24’) in Izmir, from 12–14 September 2024, and will commemorate six decades of FEBS's contributions to molecular biology, biochemistry, and disease biology.
“MolBio Geeks Competing” aims to bring together students and researchers to exchange ideas, build professional networks, and showcase their knowledge, skills, and passion—all while having fun. By promoting interdisciplinary learning, collaboration, and entertainment, we aim to empower the next generation of leaders in molecular biology and biochemistry.
